I like the smaller size and lighter weight of the trail series hydroflask bottle and the color is great. The fact that it came with the short protective boot was appreciated as well. Unfortunately, it does not keep the contents cold very long at all so I would hesitate to use it on the trail. It's too bad that the double wall construction of the bigger/original hydroflasks had to be sacrificed for the smaller more convenient size.

It has a nice design and fit perfectly with 24 oz wide mouth trail series but I don't think it will give the same protection as the regular boot which is approximately 1 inch higher coverage. The only problem I have is that, I can't put it with perfect alignment. One side is approximately 3 - 4 mm higher than the other side or kinda wavy look. Not that bad but definitely not straight.

I got this to protect my trail bottles. They are working great. I have dropped my bottle several times. On sale they are great and don't add a lot of weigh to the bottle.

The boot fits really nice and snug. Much quieter and protected when placing on rough surfaces. Definitely a nice addition (should be included) to my 24oz Trail Series bro that I’m Lovin’
